Got an alert that my membership was up for renewal. I recently received a VA disability rating and wanted to renew, in person, and receive a military/Veteran discounted membership. The person at customer service informed me that a military discount was only for NEW members. I asked if I should cancel my membership and rejoin Sam's to receive a Military/Veteran discounted membership. She didnt know how to answer and informed me that doing so would not be "worth" it. So, does Sam's club offer a Military/Veterans membership or not? Still unanswered and won't return or renew membership until I receive an answer.

It was an incredibly unpleasant experience. An employee followed us throughout the store, repeatedly telling us they were closing and that we needed to leave. I understood the first time, but she continued trailing us down every aisle, reminding us over and over that we had to go, even though we were simply trying to grab chicken wings. We weren't even holding up the checkout lanes because we pay through the app. Despite that, she kept insisting, "You have to leave. We don't get paid to stand around and wait for you." Her behavior felt completely unprofessional, unnecessarily confrontational, and frankly unhinged. What should have been a quick trip turned into an uncomfortable experience because of the way we were repeatedly harassed while trying to finish our purchase.

Cakes. I dont know whats going on with the cakes they sell but they are always out. I needed cake and I had the choice of cup cakes or cup cakes. I asked they ladies in the bakery if they had anything in the back. They talked about it for a while deciding on wether to walk 10 feet to the cooler to look. Finally I showed them picture of a cake and they went and brought it out in like 30 seconds. Why not just put them out. Other than that Sams club was great.

I always stop by Sam’s Club and I’m never disappointed! I usually grab the fresh sushi, which is always a go-to for me, but this time I came across a Mediterranean pasta salad that completely changed my way of thinking—it was my first time trying it and I loved it, especially since I’m a kale fan. Overall, the service is always great. A sweet lady even asked if I found everything I needed, which you don’t hear often anymore and really made the experience feel welcoming. Great food, great service, and always a pleasant shopping trip!

Just like walmart, no tap feature for cards. Also, always appears to be understaffed for checkout or customer service. Glad I only paid $15 for an annual membership because costco certainly does it better.
